Welcome to the Betty L. Smith Early Childhood Center.  Pre-Kindergarten and kindergarten students are the focus at our school site.  We provide your children with a loving, caring, nurturing and academic environment which helps them become successful in life.  Our staff of “Highly Qualified” teachers provides the children with a full day program.  All areas of developmental, social, and academic skills are addressed. The curriculum and learning targets are developed around the “Common Core” State Standards which provide our children with a rigorous learning environment to help them be prepared for life's challenges.  The experiences we provide help our students gain a solid foundation in life skills, social skills and academic skills to help them become successful citizens of the future.
